Visa requirements

Please read the information below to understand  what are the visa requirements for international delegates traveling to the United States and if you need to apply for a visa to attend the International Data Week 2016.

Visa Waiver Program (VWP) – You must be a citizen or national of VWP‐participant country. The following 38 countries are Visa Waiver Program participants:

Visa Waiver Program travelers from the participating countries above are required to have a valid and approved Travel Authorization (ESTA) before entering the United States of America. Each authorization granted is valid for no more than 2 years. For more information about the Travel Authorization (ESTA) application click here.

Participants not covered by the ESTA Visa Waiver (as above) should apply for a non-immigrant visa application business (B-1)  which covers the following categories:
•    consult with business associates
•    attend a scientific, educational, professional, or business convention or conference
•    settle an estate
•    negotiate a contract
